Measure a well fitted shirt

Go to your Measurement Profile

1. Collar Video

The collar measurement should be taken from the outer edge of the buttonhole to the center of the collar button.

The collar should be spread flat when doing this.

2. Chest Video

Measure straight across the chest, from one end of the arm hole seam, to the other.

Do not stretch apart the shirt when taking the measurement.
Also make sure that the shirt is buttoned while measuring.

3. Tummy Video

Like the chest, the waist is measured across the width of the shirt approx. 20cms below the chest measurement. In case of a slim fit shirt, it is also the narrowest portion of the shirt.

Do not stretch apart the shirt when taking the measurement.
Also make sure that the shirt is buttoned while measuring.

4. Hips Video

The hips measurement should be taken accross the bottom of the shirt at the end of side seams. Do not stretch the shirt apart too much when taking this measurement.

Also make sure that the shirt is buttoned while measuring. All the above 3 measurements i.e. chest, waist and hip are NOT circumference measurements.

5. Sleeve Length Video

The sleeve length measurement should be taken from the shoulder / sleeve seam along the upper edge of the cuff.

6. Arm Hole Video

The arm hole measurement should be taken as a straightline from the shoulder / sleeve seam to the lower corner where the sleeve meets the body.

7. Biceps Video

The bicep measurement should be taken as a straight line across the largest portion of the upper arm.

8. Cuffs Video

The cuff measurement should be taken when the cuff is spread flat.
Measure the cuff end to end

9. Shirt Length Video

Measure from the centre back of the collar seam, at the top of the shirt down the edge at the bottom of the shirt.

Make sure that the shirt is buttoned while measuring.

10. Shoulder Video

The shoulder width measurement should be taken between the shoulders at the sleeve seam.

Make sure that the shirt is buttoned while measuring.
